Juno

Penned by Diablo Cody, the film's story revolves around Juno, a unique 16-year-old girl. When faced with an unplanned pregnancy, she makes brave call of keeping the baby and finding the "perfect" adoptive parents. In the course of facing some tough decisions, she flirts with adulthood and ultimately comes into her own as a witty and independent teenager.

well....we managed to catch it today in the early evening time
it was a touching movie ! parents didnt freak out nor scold their daughter at all upon hearing the news and both are very supportive towards the decision of the gal's .... to find a healthy real couple to give away the baby once its been born ! perhaps its due to different surroundings .... i dont think things would work out that perfectly if this were to happen to real life in our tropical island ! for the age of 16 .... its considered underage and having sex with an underaged gal in our country would put u in jail for 1 .... 2 : parents would blow up for sure : wreaking family harmony up ...3: it seems too good to be true ..... 4: dont think kids at the age of 16 here in singapore is brave enough nor sensitive : sensible enough to make such a big move : a big step : a big responsiblity on her own : to fight for what she truly believes in : as in giving birth to a baby : ignoring all people's gossips and eye glares .....

i really respect and admire gals who are able to think and react in such ways if it were to happen to a 16 year old gal in real life scenerio !!!!! ^__^
